Viewry is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add details about Viewry Pro and the services Viewry works with. Where they differ, the Standard EULA applies.
1. The app
Viewry is an app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, made by Grigor Dochev, with live demos of Apple's UI frameworks and the code behind them. You may use the free version, and Viewry Pro if you buy it, under the Standard EULA and these terms.
2. Viewry Pro
Viewry Pro unlocks the Modifier Stack, Motion Lab and Layout X-ray, code for older systems, Swift Playgrounds export, unlimited collections, Recipes, Beta Season, menu bar lookup on the Mac, and explaining and adapting code with AI. It is offered as:
- Monthly or yearly subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Free trial. The yearly subscription may include a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid yearly subscription. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Lifetime purchase. A one-time, non-renewing purchase that unlocks Viewry Pro for as long as Viewry is offered, on the devices signed in to your Apple Account.
Viewry is one Universal Purchase: Viewry Pro unlocks on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch with the same Apple Account. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings: on iPhone or iPad in Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on the Mac in App Store › your name › Account Settings › Subscriptions. Restore purchases on a new device from the Viewry Pro screen in the app. Prices are shown in the App Store and may vary by country.
3. Beta Season
Beta Season shows new APIs that Apple announces at WWDC while they are in beta. Beta APIs can change or be removed before release, so their demos and code may change or be withdrawn too.
4. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue refunds directly.
5. Code from Viewry
The code Viewry shows for its demos is there for you to copy, save and use in your own apps. Your collections and notes are yours; Viewry doesn't collect or claim any rights to them. Sample code is provided for learning and as a starting point: review and test it before you ship it.
6. Explain and adapt with AI
Explaining and adapting code with AI uses Anthropic's API with your own Anthropic API key. Your use is governed by Anthropic's terms, and Anthropic bills you for usage. The service is provided by Anthropic, not by Viewry, and may change or become unavailable. AI can make mistakes, so check explanations and adapted code before you rely on them.
7. No warranty
Viewry is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. The developer does not guarantee that Viewry or its code will be error-free, or that code will work on every system version. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
8. Trademarks
Apple, App Store, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, iCloud, Swift, SwiftUI and Swift Playgrounds are trademarks of Apple Inc. Anthropic is a trademark of Anthropic PBC. Viewry is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or Anthropic.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated; the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Viewry after a change means you accept the updated terms.
