ViewryIn short: Viewry collects no data about you.

- Explain and Adapt send the demo's code and your request to Anthropic, with your own key, only when you use them.
- A few demos load sample images or a sample video from the web when you open them.

Data we collect
None. Viewry (the app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, and this website) does not collect, store, sell or share personal data, usage data, diagnostics or identifiers. The developer has no server that receives anything from the app.
Your collections
Collections, and the notes you add to them, are stored on your devices. If you use iCloud, they sync between your devices through your own iCloud account, in a CloudKit private database that only you can read, as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer cannot see them. When you share a collection, Viewry makes a file that you send however you choose.
Demos
- Maps. The MapKit demos show fixed places. They never ask for your location.
- Photos. The PhotosPicker demo shows only the photos you pick, and keeps them on your device.
- Sample images and video. Demos that show images from the web load them from picsum.photos, and the video demo streams Apple's public sample HLS stream from Apple's servers, when you open those demos. Like any web request, these send your IP address to those services; nothing else about you is sent.
Explain and adapt with AI
Explaining or adapting a demo with AI is optional, part of Viewry Pro, and uses your own Anthropic API key. When you choose Explain or Adapt, Viewry sends the demo's code and your request, with your key, directly to Anthropic's API. Nothing is sent at any other time, and nothing passes through a Viewry server; there isn't one.
Anthropic processes what it receives under its own terms and privacy policy. Your API key is stored in your device's Keychain and is never sent anywhere except to Anthropic when you use these features. You can remove it in Viewry's settings at any time.
Purchases
Viewry Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer receives no payment details or personal information; the app only checks with StoreKit whether Pro is active. If you start a free trial with the trial reminder on, Viewry schedules a single notification on your device; it is never sent anywhere.
If you email [email protected], your message and email address are used only to reply to you and are never shared or used for marketing. Ask, and we'll delete our correspondence with you.
This website
This site is static and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other websites. Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site; see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Children
Viewry collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
